Event information
There are Open, Women and Mixed categories for both 20s at 10s racing. Clubs can enter any age combination of crews into the standard Open, Women and Mixed categories, with the division of crews being identified by the median age of the crew. The categories available for entry are below:
- Mixed 20s (200m)
- Mixed 10s (200m)
- Open 20s (200m)
- Open 10s (200m)
- Women's 20s (200m)
- Women's 10s (200m)
- Mountain Challenge 10s (Community & Corporates)
- DA Survivors & Supporters 20s (200m)
Depending on the number of entries in each category, there are two different formats of racing. Categories with 3-4 entries will have two heats, a lane placing heat and then a final. A crew could finish third but still finish first overall in their division or masters or Premiers.
Categories with 5-8 entries will also get two races/rounds each, with the lowest overall aggregate times for masters and premiers crews to be awarded placings for the category.
The Mixed 10s category is limited to one entry per club.
The DA Survivors and Supports category is for DA member clubs only. This will be a single race providing the minimum number of entries are received.
The minimum number of entries for all categories to be included in the regatta is three.
